While our love of travelling is put on hold, we’ve decided to combine two of our second favourite loves – the love of learning, and the love of cocktails – into a multi-part blog celebrating the world’s flavours in a single delicious glass…


LAVENDER FRENCH 75

This delicious fresh, lemony, sparkelley (that is a word – I asked Dr Suess), fragrant cocktail takes you to the South of France in the summer. A tasty combination of Gin, lemon juice, lavender syrup, champagne and fresh lavender – you’ll be asking for another “s’il vous plait”…

MISSISSIPPI MUD

Chocolate, whiskey, coffee and ice cream – what’s not to love? This cocktail will have us dreaming of hot summer nights on a paddle wheeling turn about on America’s most famous river alright.

MEKONG MARGARITA

The distinct pepper decoration couldn’t be any where else other than Cambodia could it? When you team it up with some lime juice, mint leaves, tequila, vanilla and pineapple – this will cure any travellers lament…

Ingredients
  • 45 ml Arte Nom 1414 Tequila
  • 15 ml Fresh Lime Juice
  • 15 ml Vanilla Syrup
  • 3 Sprigs of Fresh Mint Leaves
  • 45 ml Pineapple Juice
Method

Shake all ingredients with cube ice – Double strain into chilled cocktail coupe – Garnish with fresh mint & green peppercorns
