Cocktails of the World – Part one

While our love of travelling is put on hold, we’ve decided to combine two of our second favourite loves – the love of learning, and the love of cocktails – into a multi-part blog celebrating the world’s flavours in a single delicious glass…
LAVENDER FRENCH 75
This delicious fresh, lemony, sparkelley (that is a word – I asked Dr Suess), fragrant cocktail takes you to the South of France in the summer. A tasty combination of Gin, lemon juice, lavender syrup, champagne and fresh lavender – you’ll be asking for another “s’il vous plait”…
“It’s never too early for a cocktail.”Noel Coward
Chocolate, whiskey, coffee and ice cream – what’s not to love? This cocktail will have us dreaming of hot summer nights on a paddle wheeling turn about on America’s most famous river alright.
