River cruising has caught on in a big way over the last 10 years.  When folk, weary from their early mornings and frantic sightseeing on coach tours worked out that many popular European cities were on the rivers, it didn’t take much coaxing to move most of us over to this relaxed way of travel.

It’s wonderful to unpack once, store away that heavy suitcase and get ready to experience your ship.  Even the worst sailors can usually cope with the gentle flow of river travel, so it makes a wonderful mode of transport for almost everyone.
