It’s the newest offering from American Cruise Lines – called – National Parks & Legendary Rivers, aboard American Song, American Jazz or American Harmony. The first departure date is 28 May 2023 with the final on 4 September 2023.

Yellowstone National Park

The package includes an 8-day cruise along the Columbia & Snake Rivers and a 7-day land exploration of three incredible National Parks. Start your journey along the epic route traveled by Lewis & Clark. Along the way, immerse yourself in the history of their expedition, admire the breathtaking landscapes that surround you, and enjoy interactive experiences such as kayaking along the Columbia River Gorge, taking part in an art workshop in The Dalles, and tasting the finest varietals at local wineries in Hood River.

After disembarking the ship, continue the adventure with an exhilarating jet boat ride through Hells Canyon, the deepest river gorge in North America. Enjoy a personalized exploration of Glacier National Park, featuring glacier-carved peaks and valleys, dense ancient forests, and pristine turquoise lakes and streams. Experience Yellowstone National Park, the World’s First National Park, known for the world’s most famous geyser, Old Faithful. Day to Day Itinerary:

Pre-Cruise: Hayden Island, Oregon
Check in to your complimentary pre-cruise hotel stay, located right at the ship`s dock

Day1: Hayden Island, Oregon
Board your ship and celebrate with a welcome reception. With Mount Hood as the backdrop, set out for a spectacular afternoon of cruising.

Day 2: Astoria, Oregon
Visit Fort Clatsop and explore an exact replica of the Lewis and Clark Expedition Team encampment site. Later, browse the town`s eclectic shops and galleries.

Day 3: Mount St. Helens, Washington
On your scenic journey to the Mount St Helens Johnston Ridge Observatory, listen to engaging commentary regarding how the eruption affected the landscape and surrounding communities.

Day 4: Stevenson, Washington
Cross the impressive `Bridge of the Gods` and admire Multnomah Falls, the second tallest year-round waterfall in the U.S. Cruising the Columbia River Gorge – Sit back on the sun deck as we cruise this spectacular river canyon cutting through the Cascade Mountain Range.

Day 5: The Dalles, Oregon
Sip the best wines of the region as you create your very own piece of artwork that you can take home as a memento of your journey with American Cruise Lines.

Day 6: Pendleton, Washington
Discover the Pendleton Underground, once a red light district beneath the city, where illegal gambling and bootlegging thrived.

Richland, Washington
Visit the REACH Museum, which illustrates the history and culture of the region through engaging exhibits, artifacts and tours.

Day 7: Cruising the Snake River
Cruise this renowned river, along mountain ranges, canyons and plains. Take in the breathtaking views that surround you from the sun deck or your private balcony.

Day 8: Hells Canyon
After an amazing journey along the Columbia & Snake Rivers, experience an exhilarating jet boat ride through Hells Canyon. Travel north for an overnight stay in Coeur d`Alene in Idaho.

Day 9: Travel to Glacier National Park
On your travels listen to a ranger talk and visit the Apgar Amphitheatre for a chance to down to the lake and grab one of the famous coloured rocks.

Day 10: Explore Glacier National Park
Walk along a trail of 100 foot cedars and take a narrated boat ride around picturesque Lake McDonald, before shopping at the nearby Apgar Village.

Day 11: Travel to West Yellowstone, Montana
Delight in a stunning drive through Montana from West Glacier to West Yellowstone. In the evening dine at a popular local restaurant, before arriving at your hotel for an evening of relaxation.

Day 12: Yellowstone National Park
Led by your Adventure Guide, visit the Mammoth Hot Springs, enjoy the colourful vistas or Artist Point and witness the magnificence of Mud Volcano.

Day 13: Travel to Jackson, Wyoming
Explore the lower loop of Yellowstone National Park. Stop at Fountain Paint Pot Trail and visit the world`s most famous geyser, Old Faithful.

Day 14: Grand Teton National Park
Discover a landscape of extraordinary wildlife, lakes and alpine terrain. Enjoy lunch and exploration at the scenic Jenny Lake, tucked away a the base of the Teton Range. In the evening, celebrate your amazing journey with fellow travellers during a farewell dinner.

Day 15: Jackson, Wyoming
After breakfast, American Cruise Lines will transfer you to the airport to begin your travels home
