Modern, spacious and elegant, AmaWaterways’ ships welcome an average of just 150 guests and boast plush lounges and bars, pools or whirlpools, fine dining restaurants serving locally sourced cuisine, gym and included wellness activities such as guided cycle and hiking tours ashore.
“At Cruise Traveller, we love to share with Australians beautiful journeys aboard smaller vessels and the superior experiences offered on spectacular rivers around the world by AmaWaterways are exactly what we specialise in,” said Cruise Traveller Managing Director, Joe O’Sullivan. “We look forward to bringing to the Australian market a constant stream of packages and product with AmaWaterways that showcase amazing places and offer amazing value.”
Cruise Traveller’s exclusive, new 10-night ‘Seine Serenity – Paris and Normandy’ cruise and stay package starts August 18, 2025, with a free, three-night stay in Paris and free, guided, skip-the-lineup tours of Paris’ famous
Louvre Museum – home of Leonardo da Vinci’s iconic Mona Lisa painting – and the lavish Palace of Versailles.
Guests then board AmaWaterways’ 144-guest river ship, AmaLyra, for a seven-night return journey from Paris to the Normandy coast and back. AmaLyra offers a restaurant, specialty dining restaurant, lounge, fitness room, whirlpool on the sun deck and a fleet of bikes.
The itinerary will enable guests to visit Monet’s famous gardens in Giverny, the colourful harbour town of Honfleur, the beaches of Normandy where WW2’s D-Day Invasion occurred and the place in Rouen where Joan of Arc achieved martyrdom.
