Praslin Island in the Seychelles is home to the UNESCO listed Vallee de Mai Nature Reserve which is one of only two places in the world that the infamous Coco de Mer palm grows. Thought to be everything from an anti-venom to an underwater tree, this fascinating fruit has a story all it’s own.
