What did you think of… MS Jahan
In this series for Facebook, we ask members of our team to give us their opinion of a cruise, on which, they have recently participated. We spend tens of thousands of dollars each year in sending our team members away on our preferred products, so they will have first hand knowledge to help you choose the perfect cruise experience. Here are three quick questions we posed to Sam Patton, our Product Manager, after she returned from a luxury cruise onboard MS Jahan on the Mekong River.
Question 1: You cruised in 2018 with Heritage Line’s MS Jahan from Cambodia to Vietnam. What stood out the most about your experience?
Answer: So many things! Firstly, I was surprised by how large our cabin was with a separate sitting area, balcony and huge bathroom. Secondly, the ship itself was just so elegant. And thirdly, how varied and interesting the included shore excursions were!
Question 2: Heritage Lines are known for their great shore activities. Can you give us an example of an instance when you experienced this?
Answer: On our third day we were at Kampong Chhnang and Kampong Tralach. During that day we went by boat/van to a sugar palm plantation and pottery village, then in the afternoon we went to a local school and travelled back to the ship by Oxcart!
Question 3: Would you travel again on Heritage Line and, if you could take anyone with you (Celebrity or other), who would that be?
Answer: Absolutely, and I would like to go on their ship Ginger in Halong Bay in Vietnam next. I would love to take my mother as she deserves a bit of spoiling!
