All About Borealis – Cruise Traveller

All About Borealis

We’re pleased to be adding Fred Olsen Cruises to our stable of cruise lines in August 2022. So in anticipation, we’d like to introduce one of their newer ships – Borealis – so you can learn a little more about this quintessential British holiday brand and her hardware.

Thanks to her ability to cruise at higher speeds than other ships, Borealis – sister ship of Fred Olsen’s flagship Bolette – is perfectly suited for sailing our longer voyages across the globe. Cruising faster means she can include more stops, scenic discoveries and highlights into each itinerary.

Stylish, spacious and comfortable, with a choice of elegant public areas, restaurants and just 702 cabins, she is ideal for Fred. Olsen’s style of cruising. On board Borealis you’ll find you’re never overcrowded. There is always ample room in which to indulge yourself in the stylish dining venues, enjoy a glass of your favourite tipple and fantastic entertainment at the bars, lounges and theatres, and while away the hours by the all-season pool.

At the heart of the dining experience on board Borealis are Aurora & Borealis, the ship’s elegant and spacious two-tiered main restaurants.

At these venues, delicious five-course, á la carte menus of dishes expertly created, prepared and cooked by a team of chefs are served every evening, whilst dedicated, attentive waiters take care of you. Menus are updated daily and include everything from steaks and seafood to freshly-made soups, pasta and salads. Plus, there are beautiful homemade breads, made overnight in the on board bakery, to enjoy too.

Take a quick look at Borealis. You may be surprised at how much she has to offer her 1360 guests.
