Le Boat Destinations – GERMANY

LOCKS:

Locks on the Brandenburg and Mecklenburg waterways are fully automatic and manned or automatic with self-service. There is no charge to use them.

• Opening hours: Locks open 08:00-20:00 (8:00 p.m.) from May to October and 09:00-16:00 (4:00 p.m.) daily in April.
• Public holidays: Locks are open on public holidays.

MOORINGS:

Full-service marinas with all amenities are available but you will have to pay for use of these, generally between 18 – 25 Euros per night. Moorings are plentiful along the German waterways.
