7 Night Cruise sailing from Dubrovnik to Opatija aboard a Deluxe Superior ship.

Day 1   DUBROVNIK – KORČULA (L)
Departure at 13h towards Korčula, an island also known as the birthplace of the famous explorer Marco Polo, with a swim stop and lunch on board. Korčula Town is commonly referred to be a “miniature Dubrovnik”, as it is encased by medieval stone ramparts and towers. Sightseeing with a local guide through the old town and tiny streets, built in a fishbone pattern for a reason you will hear about during the guided tour. Lots of simple taverns, restaurants and cool cocktail bars for chill-out time. Overnight in Korčula.

Day 2   KORČULA – METKOVIĆ (B, L, CD)
Today, discover one of the last remaining wetland deltas in Europe. Cruise to Metković, on the banks of the river Neretva after which the delta is named. Here, mandarins grow by the water channels. Take a barge ride to explore the groves, the flora and fauna, wild birds and the traditional way of life of the Neretva people. There’s a delightful “time warp” feeling like nowhere else on the coast. Narona archaeological museum in Vid, which you visit, was formally inaugurated in 2007 as the first Croatian „in situ“ museum exhibiting the remains of a Roman temple named Augusteum with 17 marble statues, some outsized and some of the natural height. This is where the ancient Illyrians, Greeks, and Romans once sailed, and, according to legend, the pirates of Neretva planned their raids on enemy galleys. Captain’s dinner with live entertainment on board is scheduled for this evening. Overnight in Metković.

Day 3   METKOVIĆ – SPLIT (B, L)
From Metković the cruise continues towards Split, the capital of the Dalmatia region, the second-largest city in Croatia with the famous Diocletian’s palace, a UNESCO-protected heritage site, chosen by the Roman Emperor Diocletian as a retirement spot! Upon arrival, a local guide takes you for a walk through the historic and buzzing old town centre and to the market. Overnight in Split.

Day 4   SPLIT – KRKA WATERFALLS / ŠIBENIK (B, T, D)
Wine and waterfalls! Cruise towards Skradin, then board a coach. The first stop is the local winery for wine tasting and light tapas lunch. Back in Skradin, walk through the Krka Waterfalls National Park and visit “Skradinski Buk”. Jaw-droppingly beautiful, this is the most popular of the Krka waterfalls. There are 17 waterfalls, with cascades up to 100 m wide, and the Krka River tumbles 45.7 meters. The afternoon destination is Šibenik, a town situated in the very central part of Croatia’s Adriatic coast. Explore the glorious old town, the cultural monuments and the most famous here, the UNESCO-listed Cathedral of St James. Wander and discover the historic core and waterfront or enjoy some good boutique shopping. Dinner on board and overnight in Šibenik.

Day 5   ŠIBENIK – ZADAR (B, L)
After breakfast, leave for Zadar, the oldest university town in Croatia, famous for its rich historical heritage of world importance. There is history at every turn; the Roman Forum from the 1st Century, St Donat church from the 9th century-the most famous medieval basilica and the symbol of the city. The mighty city walls encase the old town and there is a representative City Gate from the 16th century. Among many museums, the Museum of Ancient Glass stands out together with over 30 churches and majestic family palaces and villas. On the waterfront, the award-winning Sea Organ and “Greeting to the Sun” light installations show the funky side of Zadar. Overnight in Zadar.

Day 6   ZADAR – RAB ISLAND (B, L, T)
Departure towards Rab, known as the “island of love” and old the town of the same name. Guided city tour including the medieval walls, the famous four towers (and maybe climb one of them later) together with palaces, churches and squares. There’s a slight Montmartre feel with many artists painting and exhibiting out on the streets. Legend has it that local nuns created a special Rab cake for a visiting Pope and you will sample this after the tour. The recipe remains forever secret. Overnight in Rab.

Day 7   RAB ISLAND – OPATIJA (B, L)
The famous Opatija Riviera is often compared to the French Riviera and the magnificent views of it from the sea follow ahead. Royal families, celebrities and musicians have visited and stayed in Opatija. The experienced guide will tell you about the magnificent history of Opatija and show you its most precious monuments. Walk the famous Franz Joseph promenade – Lungomare to the fishermen’s village of Volosko, home to some of the best seafood restaurants in Croatia, or enjoy Kraš Choco bar to try exclusive chocolate cocktails, cakes or ice cream. There’s a real café – society here. Overnight in the port of Opatija.

Day 8   OPATIJA (B)

Katarina line is one of the leading Croatian incoming travel agencies founded in 1992 in Opatija, Croatia. From the very beginning Katarina line provided excellent service to the customers from Europe and abroad.

The Croatian cruises are ideal for individuals and groups in search of crystal clear sea and beaches, at the same time exploring the little coastal towns and island villages (Hvar, Korcula, Brac, Dubrovnik, Makarska, Rab, Krk).

Today the synonim for casual cruises in Croatia is Katarina line although apart from these, Katarina line provides ships of higher category too, such as the MS PRESIDENT – brand new deluxe cruiser for up to 40 persons. However, the ships for Katarina line Croatia cruises are a fine mixture of newly built iron made vessels and the vintage ones built of wood, suitable for groups or individuals consisting of 20 to 40 passangers and visiting the numerous Croatian islands (1185) on the 8 basic routes and numerous special interest programs

Aside from cruises, Katarina line can provide accommodation and excursions in all major tourist resorts as well as inland. For example town of Opatija like no other town in Croatia can provide such an abundant excursion program. This is mainly due to the location of Opatija riviera. Note that the main excursions are: always attractive Venice, Italy, Trieste, Italy (famous for shopping), unforgetable Plitvice lakes (series of 16 lakes, cascading one into the other, connected by waterfalls), Postojna caves, Bled (glacier lake),Krk island tour (largest Croatian island, famous for its wine), Istrian peninsual tour (amphitheater in Pula), Brioni national park (Tito’s summer residence), riviera /panorama cruises, island Cres and island Rab cruise,Croatian evening or folklore nights in typical Croatian ambience), Gorski kotar (mountain range, only 40 min. drive with scenery that takes your breath away), Mount Ucka (nature park) and many more tours such as canoe picnic or Jeep safari etc.
