7 Night Cruise sailing from Boston roundtrip onboard American Glory.
Cruise Overview:
Adorned with gray shingle cottages, serene beaches, and colorful clam shacks, Cape Cod is the perfect getaway destination. Begin and end your journey in Boston, a city brimming with history and character.
Visit Provincetown, a bohemian seaport with unique art galleries and excellent whale-watching opportunities. Enjoy the charming villages and gingerbread cottages of Martha’s Vineyard, led by our engaging island guides, and explore the opulent seaside mansions of Newport. Aboard our comfortable small ship, travel to the picturesque town of New Bedford, known as “The Whaling City,” with an authentic seaport village, large fishing fleet, and working waterfront.
One of the highlights of our Cape Codder itinerary is an old-fashioned lobsterbake luncheon, a tradition that pre-dates America itself. Be treated to fresh lobster, steamed clams, potatoes, and warm corn on the cob prepared on a coals and kelp gathered that morning.
The fourth in our series of Coastal Cats, American Legend, continues to provide guests with the perfect blend of adventure and comfort.
Like her sister ships, American Legend can travel on almost any river or waterway in the U.S., with rare access into small ports. The interior features modern décor and spacious staterooms, many with private balconies, as well as an elegant restaurant, multiple lounges, a fitness center, and an outdoor cafe.
After a day of exploration, relax on your private balcony and savor the view. Or sit at one of the observation areas at the bow and admire the splendid vistas with fellow travelers. If your feeling adventurous, take advantage of the tender at the stern of the ship, which provides the opportunity for local exploration.
American Legend makes her debut in October of 2024 sailing our American Revolution cruise along the Chesapeake Bay, as well as our Complete Southeast and Florida Gulf Coast & Keys itineraries.
