We thoroughly enjoyed our Douro River Cruise on board the “Douro Elegance”. Our sightseeing Guides were very knowledgeable and offered us many insights into the locations that we visited. The river itself was a great experience with both the highest and second highest locks in Europe being traversed and the vine covered hills along the way added a touch of serenity whilst gliding along the river.

Life on board was very relaxing and enjoyable. The staff and crew provided excellent service and all our meals were very enjoyable. In particular we enjoyed the Music Night where a few of us got the chance to exercise our vocal chords.

Finally, we found Porto to be a great experience. The city was alive and colourful and we look forward to the day that we can return.
