In contrast to the journey “Discovering the Legacy of Italian Masters” – which follows the same itinerary but in the opposite direction – this route takes you from the heart of the Po Valley to the enchanting lagoon world of Venice. It offers a fresh perspective that lets familiar places shine in a new light.

Your journey begins in Cremona, home of the world-famous violin-making tradition, where the legacy of great masters such as Stradivari is still alive today. From here, you sail through the gentle river landscapes, stopping in Boretto, Revere, and Polesella before reaching the Po Delta, where nature and history unite in fascinating harmony.

Ferrara, with the palaces of the Este dynasty, and Verona, with its Roman relics and medieval squares, provide magnificent cultural highlights. Finally, you reach the lagoon islands of Murano, Burano, and Torcello – each a jewel in its own right: legendary glass art, colorful houses, and delicate lacework that has enchanted for centuries.

The crowning finale awaits in Venice, La Serenissima, where the opulent Doge’s Palace and the city’s hidden treasures tell stories of power, splendor, and artistic richness.

The VIVA ship fleet continues to grow – and fulfils a very special heartfelt wish: From May 2027, the VIVA UNIQUE will set sail on the fascinating Po in Italy. Our exclusive ship combines modern design with the lightness and joie de vivre of the Italian dolce vita. With a length of 110 meters, the VIVA UNIQUE offers space for 104 guests in 52 cabins, more than half of which are suites up to 323 sqft in size.

For the first time on the Po, you can enjoy culinary variety in three restaurants – including MOMENTS, which offers fine dining at the highest level. Here, guests can expect creative gourmet compositions made from the best regional and seasonal ingredients, inspired by the diversity of Italian cuisine and interpreted in a modern way. The experience is rounded off with exquisite wines, excellent service and a special location on board that combines culinary highlights with a unique ambience. The new VIVA’s Trattoria also invites you to enjoy relaxed moments of pleasure – with fine Italian specialties, Mediterranean delicacies and an atmosphere that is perfect for celebrating the Dolce Vita.
