From Basel in Switzerland to the canals of Amsterdam, discover the changing character of the Rhine aboard VIVA MOMENTS. This seven-night journey in August combines varied landscapes with cities rich in history. Between discoveries ashore, enjoy summer hours on the water and watch the riverbanks change as your ship travels north.
Your first call is Breisach on the Upper Rhine. Continue to Strasbourg, where the ship stays overnight and departs the following evening. Half-timbered houses, small squares and the impressive cathedral invite you to explore. Take time to wander beside the waterways, pause at a café and enjoy the atmosphere of this Alsatian city.
Mannheim offers a contrast with its urban life and distinctive city layout. In Rüdesheim, wine heritage and winding lanes introduce another side of the Rhine before you reach Koblenz. An overnight stay allows you to enjoy an evening in the city where the Rhine and Moselle meet. Cologne adds its cathedral and lively riverfront to your discoveries.
The journey concludes in Amsterdam, reached on the penultimate day. Canals, bridges and characteristic gabled houses provide the setting for a final afternoon of exploration. Enjoy an evening in the Dutch capital before spending your last night aboard. With river scenery, cultural discoveries and city life, this summer cruise gives you time to appreciate both the destinations and the journey between them. The VIVA MOMENTS invites with 88 cabins up to 176 passengers on feel-good moments on board. On the Diamond Deck there are four stylish balcony suites, which with 24 sqm size and a walk-out balcony invite you to enjoy the beautiful view. On the Diamond Deck, as well as on the Ruby Deck, there are 19 sqm Junior Suites, which have a French balcony. The main part of the cabins is made up by 2-bed cabins with 16 sqm size. These have French balconies on the Diamond and Ruby decks and non-opening windows on the Emerald deck. All cabins are perfectly equipped with flat screen TV, included mini-bar, Nespresso® machine, Beauty products from RITUALS®, hairdryer, safe, air conditioning, shower and toilet.
