Your journey begins in Vienna, where the magnificent imperial and royal buildings are bathed in Christmas lights. The scent of mulled wine, roasted almonds and gingerbread wafts through the air as you stroll through magnificently decorated Christmas markets. The festive atmosphere of the city is almost infectious and sets the perfect mood for the coming days.
Continue on to Dürnstein, a picturesque little town in the Wachau, which offers a truly magical backdrop with its snow-covered alleyways, baroque facades and castle ruins. A winter stroll along the Danube takes you back in time.
In Bratislava, the spectacular New Year’s celebrations await you: a lively mix of Slovakian tradition, modern music, light shows and fireworks – an unforgettable highlight of your trip. The historic old town is transformed into a stage for joy and encounters.
After the turn of the year, the journey takes you to Budapest, whose imposing buildings such as the Parliament or the Fishermen’s Bastion look particularly impressive in the winter glow. Let yourself be enchanted by the charm of the city on a night-time lights tour.
Another stop is Komarom, known for its historic fortress and multicultural history. The charming city on the Danube rounds off your trip culturally.
Finally, you will return to Vienna, where you will once again immerse yourself in the contemplative Advent atmosphere. The MS VIVA ENJOY is the third newbuilding of VIVA Cruises and invites with 95 cabins up to 190 passengers to feel-good moments on board. On the Diamant Deck there are eight suites, which invite with 24 sqm size and a French balcony to enjoy the beautiful view. On the Diamond Deck as well as on the Ruby Deck there are 15 sqm 2-bed cabins, which have a French balcony. On the Emerald Deck, the 2-bed cabins have windows that cannot be opened. All cabins are perfectly equipped with flat screen TV, included mini-bar, Nespresso® machine, beauty products from RITUALS®, hairdryer, safe, air conditioning, shower and toilet and leave nothing to be desired.
