This eight-day river cruise combines the elegance of Paris with the historic towns and beautiful landscapes of the Seine. Your journey begins with time in the French capital before the ship departs in the early morning of Day 2 and follows the river towards Normandy. One of the first stops is Conflans, situated at the confluence of the Oise and Seine and closely associated with inland navigation for centuries. Its riverside setting and maritime heritage give the town a distinctive atmosphere.
On the third day, the cruise arrives in Rouen, the historic capital of Normandy. The city offers a fascinating blend of medieval heritage and lively urban character. Half-timbered houses, narrow streets and magnificent churches shape the historic centre. The monumental Notre-Dame Cathedral is one of Rouen’s most impressive landmarks, while the story of Joan of Arc remains closely connected with the city. In the afternoon, the journey continues to Caudebec, a charming riverside town surrounded by the characteristic scenery of the Normandy Seine Valley.
The following morning, your ship reaches Le Havre near the mouth of the Seine. A generous stay allows plenty of time to discover this important port city. Le Havre combines a strong maritime character with remarkable modern architecture. Rebuilt under the direction of Auguste Perret after the Second World War, its city centre is now recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and gives Le Havre a unique identity. The extended stay also offers the opportunity to enjoy the coastal atmosphere and the broad landscapes around the Seine estuary.
After leaving Le Havre, the cruise turns upstream once again. Vernon provides another attractive stop in the Seine Valley. This historic riverside town offers a pleasant contrast to the maritime surroundings of the coast and provides time to enjoy the quieter atmosphere of the region.
On Day 7, the ship returns to Paris. With additional time in the French capital, you can round off your journey with iconic landmarks, elegant neighbourhoods and leisurely walks along the Seine. Whether you choose to admire the Eiffel Tower, explore the Arc de Triomphe area or simply enjoy a café terrace, Paris provides a fitting finale. This cruise brings together metropolitan flair, Norman heritage, maritime landscapes and peaceful river scenery in one varied journey.

This unique ship combines an upscale feel-good atmosphere with the charm and elegance of the French lifestyle. With a length of 110 m, the VIVA BEYOND offers space for 112 guests in a total of 56 cabins, half of which are suites measuring up to 30 m². A special highlight on board: three first-class restaurants – including the MOMENTS, which takes you into the world of fine dining at star level – as well as a bar in the panorama lounge, which invites you to indulge in culinary delights. In the spacious treatment area, you can stay active in the fitness room with modern equipment or enjoy pure relaxation with a massage or wellness session. The spacious sun deck with pool provides the perfect backdrop to experience the impressive views of the varied landscape.
