Dikili is a quiet little town, with a harbour lined with restaurants and shops. It is an ideal starting point for exploring the site of Pergamon, with its acropolis perched 280 metres high and its Asclepion.

Pythagoreio – Samos, Greece
Named in honour of the great philosopher and mathematician, Pythagoreio on the island of Samos combines ancient history with authentic island charm. Passengers can stroll along the pretty harbour, where fishing boats and yachts sway gently beside waterside cafés, or explore nearby archaeological remains that whisper of the island’s glorious past. The site of the Tunnel of Eupalinos – a feat of ancient engineering – lies close by, while shaded tavernas invite a leisurely lunch by the sea.
