Day 1
Welcome to Buenos Aires, where you’ll enjoy an overnight city stay. Explore this cosmopolitan city, nicknamed the ‘Paris of South America’. Brimming with Belle Époque architecture, leafy boulevards and lively cafés, the city pulses with Latin passion – from the love of football and flame-grilled asado to the intimate rhythm of tango. Some of the highlights are La Boca, a colourful, creative mecca with a must-do art walk, and San Telmo, a former aristocratic neighbourhood that was abandoned during a 19th-century epidemic. Mansions were turned into conventillos (shared housing), boutique hotels, antique shops and tango clubs, exuding a captivating bohemian vibe.

Day 2
Fly from Buenos Aires to Ushuaia, the world’s southernmost city, cradled by the dramatic landscapes of Tierra del Fuego. Upon arrival, you’ll be warmly welcomed on board your ultra-luxury next-generation Discovery Yacht, Scenic Ikon, by the Captain and crew. Toast the start of your once-in-a-lifetime expedition as you depart South America and cruise through the Beagle Channel, named for the ship that carried Charles Darwin on his five-year discovery journey. The majestic Chilean Fjords, a breathtaking network of narrow inlets, towering cliffs and remote islands, all carved by ancient glaciers. As your next-generation Discovery Yacht glides through these untouched regions, take in the beauty of nature. Witness the remarkable Seno Garibaldi Glacier, one of the few in the world still advancing, before continuing to the awe-inspiring Seno Pia Glacier. Here, explore glittering crevasses and icy rivers that wind their way through this extraordinary glacial landscape. Day 6
Today, you will witness the awe-inspiring Aguila glacier and Condor glacier, which form part of the Darwin Mountain Range – named after Charles Darwin – in Alberto de Agostini National Park. This is the third largest park in Chile, comprising fjords, glaciers and ice fields among subpolar forests and snow-capped peaks. Marvel at the immense size of these ancient ice formations cascading down the mountainside into the sea. Aguila glacier is particularly beautiful, feeding into a mineral-rich lagoon that attracts wildlife.

Day 7
Today’s voyage carries you through some of the most breathtaking seascapes in Chilean Patagonia, beginning in the awe-inspiring Magdalena Fjord. Framed by towering mountains and ancient glaciers, this remote waterway offers a cinematic panorama of raw, untouched beauty. Watch as the ice-blue façade of the glacier spills into the fjord, reflecting in the still waters, a moment of serenity few have the privilege to witness.As we continue toward the Tucker Islets, the landscape shifts from glacial drama to vibrant wildlife haven. These low-lying islands are a sanctuary for seabirds and marine life, from colonies of Magellanic penguins to cormorants and playful sea lions. Day 8
Today, you will sail through the striking expanse of Admiralty Sound, a remote waterway that threads its way between rugged coastlines and towering, glacier-capped peaks at the edge of the Tierra del Fuego archipelago. Shaped by ancient ice and wind, this dramatic passage offers an unforgettable window into the soul of southern Patagonia. Your panoramic journey brings you alongside the dramatic coastline of Bahía Parry, a remote inlet framed by rugged cliffs and sculpted by centuries of wind and sea. The landscape opens to Ainsworth Bay, where glassy waters cradle a tranquil world of life. Day 9
This morning, you arrive in the secluded embrace of Bahía Brookes, tucked within the dramatic landscapes of Admiralty Sound. Here, time feels suspended – a place where glacial waterfalls tumble down moss-covered cliffs, and the dense subpolar forest breathes with the rhythm of the wild. This afternoon, your next-generation Discovery Yacht continues through the winding Chilean fjords, where towering cliffs, icy waterfalls, and ancient forests line the route. Punta Arenas is located at the southern extreme of Chile and serves as the gateway into Antarctica as well as Torres del Paine National Park. Overlooking the Strait of Magellan, the city flourished during the California Gold Rush – its prime position served as a haven for ships. The city will captivate you with its clean air, sophisticated European architecture and renowned kayaking.

Day 11

Day 12
Today you’ll visit the remote and rugged Isla Pingüino, a windswept wildlife sanctuary just off the Patagonian coast. Named for its charismatic residents, the island is home to a thriving colony of Magellanic penguins and, unusually, a small group of rockhopper penguins, the only such colony found this far north on the Atlantic coast. Step ashore with your expert Discovery Team for an up-close look at this vibrant ecosystem. As you walk the rocky terrain and seaweed-fringed coastline, keep your eyes open for lounging elephant seals and seabirds riding the thermals above the cliffs. Following days of discovery, indulge in a leisurely sleep-in, gently rocked by the ocean’s rhythm. Explore Punta Piràmides, a World Heritage-listed nature reserve and an important breeding location for the endangered southern right whale, elephant seals and a large rookery of sea lions. Orcas frequent the area, and shorebirds also stop here on their annual migrations. They will help you capture these incredible moments while cruising on the zodiacs, kayaking and stand-up paddle-boarding~.

Day 15
Today is another leisurely day at sea. Head to the gym for an invigorating workout or the studio for a Pilates class, some guided stretching or aerial yoga. This is your final opportunity to enjoy the spa facilities – indulge in a rejuvenating treatment# or simply relax in its serene surroundings.

Day 17
Arrive in Montevideo, Uruguay’s vibrant capital city that boasts a rich 300-year history and an eclectic melange of Art Deco and Neoclassical architecture. While its Rambla (beachside avenue) may not be as famous as Barcelona’s, it’s much longer at 22 kilometres and traces the seaside almost the entire way. Most of the city’s streets connect to the Rambla, making Montevideo an easy place to navigate and explore. There’s a collective love for meat, wine, football and celebration, as well as an annual carnival. The longest in the world, the carnival runs for 40 days each year from January to March.

Day 18
Your journey of wonder ends this morning in Buenos Aires After one final breakfast on board Scenic Ikon, bid farewell to the crew and your fellow guests, taking with you stories for life from an extraordinary journey to this unforgettable part of the word.
