Day 1
Welcome to Buenos Aires, where you’ll have an overnight hotel stay. Perhaps plan to spend some time in the city, known as the ‘Paris of South America’. Resplendent with Belle Epoque buildings, sidewalk cafes and green spaces, there’s the fiery passion of Latin America – a collective love for football, flame-cooked meats (asado) and the tango.

Some of the highlights are La Boca, a colourful, creative mecca with an art walk, and San Telmo, a former aristocratic neighbourhood abandoned during a 19th-century epidemic. Mansions were turned into conventillos (shared housing), boutique hotels, antique shops, and tango clubs, exuding a captivating bohemian vibe.

Day 2
Board a scenic flight from Buenos Aires to Ushuaia, the gateway to Antarctica and the world’s southernmost city, nestled on the rugged shores of Tierra del Fuego. The captain and crew will warmly greet you as you board your ultra-luxury Discovery Yacht. Raise a glass of Champagne as you set sail through the legendary Beagle Channel, tracing the path of Charles Darwin’s historic voyage. From your private verandah or the Observation Deck, take in breathtaking views of the snow-capped Andean peaks and pristine Patagonian wilderness—marking the beginning of an unforgettable expedition.

Day 3
Today, explore your Discovery Yacht and familiarise yourself with all the areas on board your new ultra-luxury home. Enjoy some downtime at the expensive 550sqm Senses Spa. Book an appointment# with our skilful wellness therapists and surrender yourself to bliss. Afterwards, hold on to that feeling of calm for a while longer in the Zen-like space of the Vitality Lounge. Here, ambient light envelops you with tranquil music as the heat from our soothing thermal loungers works to gently purify the body.

Meet your new friends over a relaxed meal at the Azure Bar & Café. Graze the day away with included beverages as Scenic’s culinary team goes to the Nth Degree to ensure every dining experience is personalised.

Join an introductory presentation about your polar expedition by the Discovery Team in the state-of-the-art theatre.

We believe the best way to experience an environmentally sensitive destination like Antarctica is with small groups of travellers. Guests will board the zodiacs according to their designated colour, where our expert Discovery Team will guide them, ensuring an unforgettable and unique adventure.

Day 4
Remote and unspoiled, the Falkland Islands offer a breathtaking sanctuary for wildlife enthusiasts. Home to the world’s largest Gentoo penguin population, watch as they waddle along the shores, nesting and interacting in their natural environment.

Spot black-browed albatross soaring above and keep an eye out for Cobb’s wren and the Falkland flightless steamer duck, two rare species only found here. For a deeper appreciation of this remarkable ecosystem, engage with the specialist polar Discovery Team—a dedicated group of geologists, historians, ornithologists, marine biologists, and glaciologists who bring the magic of the Falklands to life through their unparalleled knowledge and passion.

Scenic Discovery: Daily experiences during your expedition voyage may include cruising on Zodiacs, landing ashore to view vast penguin rookeries, kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding, soar above in the helicopter^ and dive below in the submersible^.

Day 5
While in the Falkland Islands, you will visit capital Stanley (subject to weather and operational conditions). This town offers a unique British outpost feel. Visit local shops, see the Christ Church Cathedral with its whalebone arch, or share a pint at an English pub.

It could be a good night to share stories with new friends over dinner at Sushi @ Koko’s (available by reservation). Enjoy entertainment in the state-of-the-art theatre and unwind with a nightcap at the Scenic Lounge Bar.

Scenic Freechoice: Walk Stanley: Enjoy a walking tour of the small capital with an expert local guide for a closer look at life in this rugged location.Battlefields, a Mountain Perspective: Visit Falklands War battlegrounds on a Battlefields Tour while admiring the views of the Island.Stanley Highlights: This tour by coach offers a thorough introduction to the town’s key sights and historical landmarks.Fitz Roy Farm: Start at the Jetty Visitor Center with a brief history of the Falklands, then continue to the shearing shed for a live shearing demonstration, followed by a visit to the Farm Manager’s House.

Day 6
Today you may wish to book a treatment at the tranquil Senses Spa#. Perhaps an ESPA facial or massage or an alternative therapy including Ayurvedic massage.

Throughout the day, the theatre comes alive with talks and lectures from the Discovery Team. Exploring Antarctica inspires a deep appreciation for the environment, and you will be eager to dive deeper with an engaging enrichment lecture.

In the evening, settle in at the spacious Scenic Lounge Bar for your beverage of choice. With Scenic’s signature all-inclusive ultra-luxury philosophy, indulge in top shelf spirits, over 130 whiskeys, a premium wine list and French Champagne.

Day 7
As you cruise towards South Georgia, savour a specialty tea or coffee in the Observation Lounge while watching the world drift by through Swarovski telescopes.

Day 8
Today, venture into one of the most breathtaking wildlife sanctuaries in the Southern Ocean. If weather allows, explore the rugged coves and sweeping shores, where extraordinary wildlife abounds. With its untouched beauty and remarkable biodiversity, South Georgia offers an awe-inspiring experience for those seeking true wilderness.

Scenic Discovery: You may have the chance to explore this fascinating landscape on Zodiacs, kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, self-paced hikes, and submersible excursions. Your expert Discovery Team will guide you on enlightening excursions, bringing you close to South Georgia’s stunning wildlife and nature.

Day 9
Step back in time at Grytviken, a historic settlement that tells the story of early Antarctic exploration and industry. Pay tribute to legendary explorer Sir Ernest Shackleton at his final resting place and explore the remnants of the island’s past, where weathered whaling stations and rusting ships stand as enduring symbols of a bygone era.

Day 10
A paradise for photographers and nature enthusiasts alike, South Georgia offers breathtaking landscapes and unparalleled wildlife encounters. If conditions allow, explore its dramatic shores, where untouched wilderness and striking scenery create the perfect backdrop for unforgettable moments. Be sure to have your camera ready to capture this awe-inspiring destination.

Day 11
After a languid sleep-in and a luxurious in-suite breakfast, start the day with a yoga or Pilates class.

Ask your butler to bring breakfast to your suite, where you can enjoy it at your leisure, surrounded by breathtaking views from your private balcony.

Visit the bridge where the Captain’s open bridge policy welcomes guests at any time to learn more about the technical abilities of The World’s First Discovery Yacht and see it in full operation. The bridge is also one of the best viewing areas on the ship.

Indulge in the many exceptional dining experiences on board. Start with a casual breakfast at the Yacht Club. For lunch, enjoy light meals, pizza, and salads at Azure Bar & Café. Day 12
Today you will enter Antarctic waters, an unpredictable but stunningly beautiful environment that always surprises. Put on your complimentary polar parka and head to the Observation Deck to spot icebergs for the first time – a feeling that will stay with you forever.

Watch out for whale blows in the distance. Your specialist polar Discovery team is on hand to provide and answer any insightful information.

The Observation Lounge and Terrace occupies a commanding position at the bow of the ship on Deck 5 and is the perfect place for a specialty tea or coffee while watching the world float by.??

During the day, the theatre comes alive with captivating lectures from our polar Discovery Team. Don´t forget to check the Daily Program on your TV for timing—you won’t want to miss these inspiring sessions!

Day 13
Slide open the floor-to-ceiling doors of your verandah suite to see icebergs sculpted by nature and glacial mountains rising thousands of metres from the ocean. True magic awaits as you witness the incredible wildlife spectacle: from the graceful seals to majestic whales and delightful colonies of penguins that dot the landscape.

Antarctica is a birdwatcher’s delight, home to a variety of species, so keep your eyes peeled for wandering albatrosses, shearwaters, giant petrels and more.

Due to the extraordinary nature of the region, excursions throughout your Expedition Voyage are dependent on the ice and weather conditions. Your experienced Captain and Discovery Leader, who have made countless journeys to Antarctica, will use their expertise to design your voyage from day to day, making the most of 18–20 hours of daylight.

Day 14
Every day, set out on unforgettable Zodiac excursions to explore breathtaking glaciated bays, tranquil channels, and pristine landing sites. Your dedicated Discovery Team will guide you as you trek across the awe-inspiring Antarctic wilderness, and meet the adorable chinstrap, Adélie, and gentoo penguins that inhabit this magical region.

Tonight could be the night you enjoy Sushi^ @ Koko’s (available by reservation) with your new friends. Stay up late in the bar or retire to the Observation Lounge for a moment of blissful solitude before bed.

Scenic Discovery: Enjoy daily Discovery excursions. Cruise on the Zodiacs around ice formations, step onto islands to view vast penguin rookeries and seals. Kayak or stand-up paddleboard past icebergs and hear the ice cracking and whales feeding below. Soar above the horizon in one of two the two helicopters^ or dive below in the submersible^ for further discovery.

Day 15
Various species of penguins can be found in Antarctic and the sub-Antarctic region, with around 12 million living on the Peninsula, including Adélie, Chinstrap, Gentoo, and the rare Emperor. Guided by the expert Polar Discovery Team, you’ll witness colonies up close.

Whales are another majestic creature you may encounter, whether a minke, a humpback or an Orca. Watch them from the comfort of your ultra-luxury Discovery Yacht, in a Zodiac with an experienced Discovery Team member, or from their level in a kayak or stand-up paddleboard – a breathtaking experience.

The bold exploits of legendary explorers like Scott, Shackleton, and Amundsen have fueled its mystique, inspiring generations to venture into this untamed wilderness. On this unforgettable day, you’ll cruise past Antarctica’s stunning icy mountains, before stepping ashore by Zodiac to immerse yourself in the true polar wilderness.

In between discovery excursions, enjoy a specialty tea or coffee in the Observation Lounge and watch the world float by through Swarovski telescopes.

Day 17
Aboard our ultra-luxury yacht, every moment is designed for comfort and camaraderie, with our inviting lounge offering the perfect space to relax and share unforgettable experiences with like-minded travellers.

For those seeking an exhilarating experience, the legendary Polar Plunge awaits—an unforgettable moment of pure adrenaline in the icy waters, carefully planned by the Expedition Leader and Captain. If you prefer to stay warm, find a prime viewing spot and enjoy the spectacle as fellow guests take the plunge, then join them for a toast with a glass of whiskey or a steaming cup of hot chocolate.

Day 18
As you cruise back across the Drake Passage toward South America, take this time to indulge in the ultra-luxury comforts of your Discovery Yacht and reflect on the awe-inspiring moments you have experienced.

Start your day with an invigorating workout in the state-of-the-art gym, a guided Pilates session, or a moment of relaxation in the PURE: Yoga & Pilates Studio. As evening falls, unwind in the elegant Scenic Lounge Bar, where you can toast to your adventure with a perfectly aged whiskey, a glass of fine wine, or a flute of French Champagne—all part of Scenic’s truly all-inclusive ultra-luxury philosophy.

Day 19
This is your final day on board your Discovery Yacht, so take the time to return to your favourite spots. That might mean one last treatment# in the luxurious Senses Spa or stretching out in a class at the PURE: Yoga & Pilates Studio.

Enjoy lunch with your new friends as you recall your favourite memories from your time on the seventh continent. Tonight, raise a glass to an unforgettable voyage at the spacious Scenic Lounge Bar. The ship will arrive in Ushuaia, the main island of Tierra del Fuego and the southernmost city in the world, late this evening.

Day 20
This morning, bid farewell to your expert crew and fellow travellers as your extraordinary journey comes to an end. After a final indulgent breakfast on board, disembark in Ushuaia and board your flight to Buenos Aires, carrying with you memories of an unforgettable adventure in the pristine landscapes of Antarctica.Please note: This itinerary is a guide and may be adjusted due to operational requirements and weather conditions to ensure the best possible experience.
