4 Night Cruise sailing from Greenock roundtrip aboard Hebridean Princess.

The fresher days of autumn, many still illuminated by bright sunshine and clear blue skies, are the perfect moment for a short break. Cruising shimmering lochs backed by tree-clad hills, taste the magic and romance of the Clyde from the reassuring warmth of Hebridean Princess.

Snaking inland from the Firth of Clyde, a cruise of Loch Fyne unveils picturesque landscapes of towering mountains, sandy bays and intriguing inlets. Arriving at the pretty fishing village of Ardrishaig, the eastern starting point of the Crinan Canal, we travel north to Kilmartin Glen and open the door to 12,000 years of history. One of Scotland’s richest prehistoric sites and brimming with historic wonders the museum displays artefacts from the glen, offer a fascinating insight into the lives of our ancestors.

Lying on the Cowal Peninsula, Portavadie offers scenic walks along Argyll’s Secret Coast. With magnificent views across Loch Fyne to Kintyre, this region is secluded, unspoiled and wild.

Next we make landfall on little-known Great Cumbrae. Along Millport Bay, wonder at the diminutive Cathedral of the Isles. Dating from 1861 and the smallest in Britain, it seats only 100 worshippers.

Visit one of the Britain’s only fully restored water-powered organs and stunning stained glass windows designed by Stephen Adam at Historic Kilmun. Discover the burial places of Argyll’s Campbell Clan chiefs and Dukes dating back hundreds of years.

Hebridean Princess is Hebridean’s original vessel. Specially commissioned in 1965 for the waters of the rugged west coast of Scotland, she commenced sailing under the Hebridean Island Cruises’ flag after a full refit in 1989, establishing a unique and unusual style of cruising.

Beautifully decorated in the finest quality furnishings, her relaxed, floating country house party atmosphere and impeccable service from a warm, welcoming and friendly crew have earned her an unrivalled reputation. From the starboard Conservatory to the cosy Look Out Lounge; from the luxurious Tiree Lounge to the peaceful Library or the quiet of the teak Skye Deck – the comfort of Hebridean Princess is home but better!

Just 49 guests are cared for by around 38 crew as she sails perhaps the most beautiful coastline of northern Europe, Scotland’s Western Isles.
