Unearth ancient treasures and modern wonders on this 65-night Grand Journey through Asia, the Middle East, and Southern Europe. From Singapore, we head to Port Klang, the cultural gateway to Kuala Lumpur, closely followed by multicultural George Town on Penang. The blissful beaches in Phuket, Thailand, beckon before we land in Port Blair, a remote island in the Andaman Sea. Next, we explore Sri Lanka’s capital, Colombo, before a leisurely sail to Cochin paves the way for the excitement of India, from Goa’s serene shores to bustling Mumbai. A cruise across the Arabian Sea brings us to Oman’s Khasab, with its surprising landscape of fjords. Abu Dhabi and Dubai offer ample retail opportunities, with Fujairah our final UAE port before we return to Oman to see Muscat, the capital, and lush, green Salalah, where frankincense is harvested. Three days at sea deliver us to Jeddah in Saudi Arabia, then Aqaba in Jordan and the ancient rose-hued city of Petra. Next, we make for the Egyptian coast and Safaga, gateway to Luxor, home of Tutankhamun’s tomb. Onwards, we sail through the Suez Canal to Alexandria, before crossing to Greece to discover Chania and fabled Olympia. The sightseeing trail continues in Valletta, Malta’s sunny capital, and La Goulette, in Tunisia, hopping-off point for the ruins of Carthage. Next, we hit the highlights of Italy, including lemon-scented Sorrento and awesome Rome, and Spain, including buzzy Barcelona. Now we strike out into the Atlantic, calling by the Portuguese Azores and the entertainment-rich Royal Naval Dockyard in Bermuda, bound for our final destination, Fort Lauderdale.
