10 Night Cruise sailing from Amsterdam to Stockholm aboard Star Breeze.

Discover the radiant beauty of Baltic capitals from the fairytale castles and gardens of Copenhagen to Tallinn’s medieval walls and Helsinki’s charming Old Town. Spend two days in St. Petersburg enthralled by the gold-and-amber excesses of imperial palaces, the Hermitage, a perfectly performed ballet. Then venture to places off the beaten path, including some reserved exclusively for small ships like ours. Sail your ship through the middle of the German countryside as you cross the Kiel Canal. Nose into the tiny port of Harlingen with its 600 historic homes and UNESCO-designated wetlands. Stand on deck as your luxurious sailing yacht arrives in Mariehamn, Port of the Last Windjammers, and docks next to a lovely windjammer from ages past. Go to sleep each night with stars in your eyes, even as the Midnight Sun is slow to set.

Highlights of this cruise:

From the time you enter the whale-shaped cruise terminal, you’ll know you’ve arrived at someplace special. The intimate 17th century atmosphere of Amsterdam makes the city feel almost like a movie set for a period drama. More than 7,000 historic buildings remain, particularly in the canal district, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The city also has the highest museum density in the world, and a day here makes for difficult choices from the Van Gogh Museum (sunflowers, anyone?) to Anne Frank House, to the Rijksmuseum with Rembrandt’s magnificent Nightwatch. If museums aren’t your thing, rent a bike to cycle along the scenic canals, get a unique perspective on the Venice of the North at the corner of Reguliersgracht and Herengracht where you can set your eyes on more than 15 bridges at once. (Stand on the odd side of the street.)

The city itself seems made from a fairy tale – palaces, canals, and copper spires set the mood as you amble through its cobbled streets. From the beloved Little Mermaid to the magnificent Christianborg Palace, to the UNESCO site of Roskilde Cathedral, this is a city of beautiful contrasts. Take advantage of our overnight stay to enjoy Copenhagen’s open-air theaters and charming cafés. Treat yourself to a stunning bicycle ride through Dyrehaven Park – or pedal through meadows of grazing deer and world-famous Tivoli Gardens.

The spires of 14th century churches soar above fashion-forward cafés, restaurants, and shops within the stone walls of Tallinn. Medieval Old Town is the well-preserved – and thriving – center of town, where you’ll find impressive guild houses, St. Olav’s Church, and other architectural treasures. Beyond Old Town lies Peter the Great’s Baroque masterpiece, Kadriorg Palace – and sunny Pirita beach.

St Petersburg
Anticipation grows as you approach Peter the Great’s magnificent city, golden domes glistening under the magical “White Nights” of summer. The Hermitage Museum is a must-see with 353 rooms filled with masterpieces by the likes of Michelangelo, Rembrandt, and Da Vinci. At Catherine Palace, step into the breathtaking Amber Room, painstakingly reconstructed after its mysterious disappearance in World War II. Peterhof, the town of palaces, rivals Versailles with its gilded fountains and sprawling parks.

Experience your own private Stockholm as you explore the interlacing canals and 14 tiny islands that surround this magical city. Renowned for its progressive nature, Stockholm offers avant-garde design, and trendy fashions. Visit the UNESCO sites of Frottningholm and Skogskykogarden, and the Södermalm neighborhood to discover charming old homes and picturesque main streets lined with unique shops, art galleries, and entertaining nightclubs.

All Suite Yacht

With only 212 guests, you begin to feel like it’s your own private yacht almost as soon as you step aboard.

The sitting area of your spacious, newly refurbished suite gives you an expansive ocean view — making it a welcome retreat.

When you’re ready to make an appearance, the lounges, club, casino and library are waiting to be explored. Take some “you” time in the tranquil WindSpa . . . enjoy a dip in the pool . . . work off that decadent dessert in the Fitness Center . . . and, of course, you are always welcome to visit the Bridge to examine navigation charts with the Captain.

Star Breeze is large enough to pamper and entertain you, yet small enough to tuck into delightful tiny harbors and hidden coves that others can’t reach.
