12 Night Cruise sailing from Southampton roundtrip aboard Azamara Pursuit.

Dramatically cutting across the mythic shores of the Land of the Midnight Sun, Norway’s Fjords are renowned for their beauty and sheer spectacle. This adventure will bring you close to some of the world’s most beautiful natural wonders, not to mention to bustling communities that make Norway a true northern gem.

Your adventure gets underway in Southampton, England, where we’ll set sail for a day at sea before arriving for a thrilling 24 hours in Oslo. During your stay, marvel at Oslofjord’s waterways, visit the Opera House, and delight in the city’s burgeoning culinary scene—including trying an iconic polse.

From here, it’s off for shopping and scenery in Kristiansand and the lively North Sea port of Haugesund, followed by EIdfjord—a town nestled in the shadows of towering mountains and cascading waterfalls. It truly is one of the most beautiful locations on Earth.

Next, we’ll travel the seven hills and seven fjords of beautiful Bergen during an overnight stop, followed by a visit to Sognefjord—Norway’s deepest fjord and the second-longest in the world. Then its two days aboard your boutique hotel at sea as we return to Southampton.

Highlights of this cruise:

Southampton
It was the departure point for the Mayflower in 1620, and for the ill-fated Titanic in 1912. The charms of London are not far away, but pray tarry in the south to explore other wonders, including Bath, with its natural hot springs and stunning architecture and the mysterious megaliths of Stonehenge, or venture all the way west to Lands End, and the wild moorlands and pirate haunts of Cornwall.

Oslo
Discover the beautiful Tiger City when you arrive in Oslo, Norway’s gorgeous capital. Take in a performance by the National Ballet Company at the new Oslo Opera House, or stroll the Damstredet, a perfectly-preserved slice of Norwegian history where you’ll find wooden houses dating back to the 1700s. Historians will also want to visit Oslo’s many historic vessels, including the Fram and Kon Tiki.

Haugesund
Now considered one of the country’s principal cultural centers, the lovely port town of Haugesund is known as the birthplace of Norway. Its fascinating Viking past comes alive at the Norwegian History Center where re-creations take place on a 7th century Viking farm. Ferries travel to the stunning island of Røvær and the birders paradise of Utsira. One last must-see is the majestic Langfoss Waterfall.

Eidfjord
This quiet little hamlet is dwarfed by the outsized scenery that surrounds it: steep fjord walls, sparkling crystalline glaciers, foaming waterfalls, and an endless expanse of mountain tundra traversed by herds of reindeer.

Flam
You’ll find the beautiful, small town of Flam nestled deep in a tributary of the longest and deepest fjord on Earth. Surrounded by steep mountainsides, roaring waterfalls and deep valleys, Flam is a one-of-a-kind experience with nature. It’s also renowned for Aegir, one of Norway’s best craft breweries, and the Flam Railway, considered one of the most fantastic stretches of railroad in the world.

Azamara ships are not too big (you never feel lost). And they’re not too small (you won’t run out of new things to do and new people to meet). Plus, with the newest addition to our fleet—the Azamara PursuitSM—you’ll have even more choice in immersive voyage that call on the world’s most desirable destinations.

With a capacity of 690 guests on Azamara Journey® and Azamara Quest®, and the new Azamara PursuitSM, our three mid-sized ships are really just right. You’ll love the genial club-like atmosphere and the way our staff and crew get to know you. And you’ll feel the same friendliness with your fellow voyagers.

Seven restaurants, cafes and lounges, a refreshing pool, sun-drenched decks, a revitalizing spa…the list goes on.
