Highlights of this cruise:

Lisbon
Discover the world’s last colonial empire, turned bustling cosmopolitan city. Lisbon has dozens of Moorish castles, pastel buildings, and white sand beaches to explore. This Atlantic-coast city perfectly encapsulates Mediterranean charm with its wine, food, and architecture.

Casablanca
With visions of Bergman and Bogart filling the imagination, it’s easy to explore the French-colonial design and narrow alleyways of the old Medina, and bargain-filled souks are reminders of mysterious days past. Yet this gleaming city has a firm grasp on the 21st century and today encompasses broad palm-lined boulevards, attractive public parks and soaring high-rises.

Cartagena
From its ancient natural harbor where Phoenicians would trade to its Roman Empire heyday when it was known as the New Carthage, Cartagena’s enviable position on the Mediterranean has long made it one of the most important ports in Spain. The country’s Naval Headquarters is here, as are Dockyard Gate and Midshipman School. Discover ancient Roman ruins and Modernista buildings, the magnificent Concepcion Castle and a stunning City Hall.

Barcelona
Barcelona’s seaside beauty, sprawling beaches, eclectic architecture, world-class tapas and Tempranillo are all reasons to fall in love with the city of Gaudí. Indeed, the treasures here are many and diverse, captivating travelers and experts alike. In fact, nine important sites in the city, seven designed by the famed architect himself, have earned the acclaim of UNESCO.

Monte Carlo
An ancient principality steeped in rich and colorful history, Monaco was bought from the Genoese in 1309 by the Grimaldis, who still rule as the world`s oldest monarchy - presided over today by Prince Albert.

Livorno
Giotto, Brunelleschi, Botticelli and Michelangelo made their marks of genius here. This cradle of the Renaissance owes its UNESCO status to the overwhelming influence the city and its museums, churches, architecture and artworks have had on Europe and, ultimately, the world. Vestiges of this enlightened period are everywhere today – at the Uffizi gallery, the Palazzos Pitta and Vecchio and throughout the city streets.

La Seyne (Toulon)
As its name suggests, La Seyne-sur-Mer is a small and vibrant maritime town located on the French Riviera. Enjoy shopping in its many picturesque markets, sunbathing on the fine sandy beach of Plage des Sablettes or immersing yourself in the exquisite art of the Villa Tamaris Centre d`Art.

Sorrento
Dramatic bluffs and craggy cliffs draped with flowing pink blossoms are the welcoming vision to this romantic port renowned for its serene way of life.

Dubrovnik
Dubrovnik is one of the most recognizable cities in Europe. Behind the walls, find sleek Venetian-style buildings and a rich Slavic culture. Home to lavender, olive oil, and gorgeous beaches, Dubrovnik will leave a lasting impression on all your senses.

Venice
One of the world`s most enchanting cities, Venice is comprised of more than 100 separate islands and a labyrinthine of canals laced together by a string of 400 intricate bridges. A whimsical stroll through the city leads to a hidden world of ornately decorated piazzas and a legacy of Baroque architecture. Admire the richness of St. Mark`s Basilica and the lavishness of the Palazzo Ducale.

Bari
In the Italian seaside city of Bari, you will find picturesque streets, curious shops and incredible cuisine, including a wide selection of delectable wines. Get lost in the maze-like streets of its old town to admire enchanting monuments and sample its homemade dishes, including delicious fresh pasta at Via dell’Arco Basso.

Athens
Venture through Greece’s largest port city, Piraeus, as you make your way to the cradle of Western culture and the birthplace of democracy. Athens, among the world`s oldest cities with a history spanning 3,400 years, has long been the location of myth and muse, and its ancient heritage is still an incredible source of inspiration. Here, the Acropolis crowns the city as home to the Parthenon and other legendary temples and monuments.

Bodrum
Today, its Old Town is alive with contemporary shops and traditional bazaars that teem with locals and visitors, surrounded by lively cafés. But this charming “old” quarter is infantile compared to one of Bodrum’s most important sites: the Mausoleum of Halicarnassus. Dating back to 350 B.C., the 140-foot white marble structure still captivates even the savviest scientists, ranking as one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.

Istanbul
The only city in the world that spans two continents, Istanbul is an icon of history, art and beauty in both Europe and Asia. Here, centuries-old architecture meets modern luxuries, and a melting pot of faiths, flavors and traditions rivals the mosaic masterpieces within its exquisite buildings. Places like the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace and the famed Blue Mosque - each a jaw-dropping display of cultural riches.

Volos
Known for its enchanting beaches, Volos is not just a place to relax and de-stress. This popular coastal city also hosts stunning archeological sites such as the Volos Castle ruins and the village of Dimini. It is home to the famous “tsipouradikos”– restaurants that serve the traditional tsipouro spirit.

Naples
Naples, the center of southern Italian commerce, is located on the scenic Bay of Naples. View a moment frozen in time at the excavations of Pompeii and Herculaneum, ancient cities buried by an eruption of nearby Mt. Vesuvius.

Monte Carlo
An ancient principality steeped in rich and colorful history, Monaco was bought from the Genoese in 1309 by the Grimaldis, who still rule as the world`s oldest monarchy - presided over today by Prince Albert.
