Tempting Tahiti – Cruise Traveller

Tempting Tahiti

A dreamy, luxurious cruise through the turquoise waters and tropical islands of Tahiti in 2023 has been packaged bv Australian small ship specialist, Cruise Traveller, with thousands of dollars in savings available for bookings made by August 31, 2022.

Cruise Traveller’s new nine-night ‘Tahitian Temptations’ package features a week-long sojourn aboard Ponant’s elegant, Tahitian-based ship, Le Paul Gauguin, carrying just 330 guests and purpose-designed for navigation in Polynesian waters, with easy, shallow-draft access to Tahiti’s idyllic lagoons and isolated islands.

Four sailing dates are available between June and October, 2023. The package begins with two nights’ resort accommodation in Papeete, enabling guests to unwind to the relaxed rhythms of Tahitian culture. Guests then board Le Paul Gauguin for a seven-night, round-trip cruise from Papeete through the warm, translucent waters of Tahiti’s picture-postcard islands, including vanilla-scented Huahine, Ponant’s private island paradise of Motu Mahana in the languid lagoon of Taha’a, spectacular Bora Bora – billed as the world’s most beautiful island – and the verdant, peak-capped island of Moorea.

Refurbished in 2021, Le Paul Gauguin pays homage to the colourful Polynesian culture through its use of precious woods, antique engravings and Tiki details.

Including two-nights’ resort accommodation and the cruise with onboard beverages, Cruise Traveller’s nine-night ‘Tahitian Temptations’ package is available from A$7385 per person, twin-share, in a Porthole Stateroom – a saving of A$1660 per person.  In a Balcony Stateroom, the package is available from A$9685 per person, twin-share.

The savings apply to bookings made by August 31, 2022, and are subject to availability. Flights from Australia are additional.
